Southwest Edmonton Showhomes
There’s no better way to get a sense of what type of home is right for you than to tour a builder’s showhomes. In many of Edmonton’s southwest communities, you’ll find showhomes by Sterling that meet the needs of people at all stages of life. Learn more about what’s out there, then stop by to visit the ones that sound like they’d be the best match.
The big attraction in Allard is the upcoming Main Street-style shopping centre, but you’ll find the family-friendly atmosphere is a big bonus.
Start by visiting the Sequel B showhome. This is a duplex-style home with 1,500+ square feet and three bedrooms. Families love the built-in shelving in the great room and the second-floor laundry. With the walk-in pantry in the kitchen and the extra workspace station upstairs, you certainly won’t feel like you’re settling if you choose this home. Sterling has two versions of this model at 5208 and 5210 Andison Link SW. This makes it easy to see what the home would look like with and without upgrades.
The Trista at 5511 Albright Square SW offers everything your family needs in a 1,500+ square foot package. The first floor has a nice layout with the kitchen in the middle of the dining nook and living room. This model also gives you the option of adding a bonus room on the second floor, which can add around 400 square feet.
The Thomas B at 5513 Albright Square SW is a 2,500+ square foot front-attached home. The mudroom has a bench and a walk-in closet, so it’s perfect for keeping things organized when you first get in. The flex room on the first floor and the bonus room on the second floor offer extra space for families to gather together. In the master ensuite, you’ll appreciate the double sinks, privacy door for the toilet, and separate tub and shower.
Cavanagh is a great community in the Heritage Valley area with fun play areas for the kids. The showhomes here demonstrate how comfortably your family could live in one of Sterling’s homes.
The Sensation J home at 2510 Casey Way SW is a three-bedroom duplex home with upscale features like a walk-through pantry, second-floor laundry, and built-in shelving in the great room. You’ll love the rich colour of the cabinetry in the kitchen. The other half of the duplex is based on the Sahara model. It also has three bedrooms, and the kitchen in this model has a bright, open look. There are options to include a second master bedroom in this model or a bonus room on the second floor.
If you love the look of laned homes, you’ll want to stop by the Evans M3 showhome at 3010 Checknita Way SW. It has a beautifully-designed plan that includes a covered porch, a bonus room upstairs, and a walk-in closet in one of the kids’ bedrooms. With the living room set at the front of the home, this style is a good choice for those who don’t love the popular open-concept designs.
As you’ll see from the second you walk into the home, the Tanner is an excellent choice for family life. It’s a three-bedroom home with over 2,000 square feet of living space. It’s the interconnected rooms that make this model stand out. There’s a large butler’s pantry that connects the mudroom to the kitchen. This is great for putting groceries away, but it also has more space than you’d expect in the usual walk-through pantries. Upstairs, there’s a laundry room sits off the main hallway and to the walk-in closet of the master bedroom.
Crimson in Creekwood Chappelle
The Crimson in Creekwood Chapelle neighbourhood is perfect for those who want to feel connected. You’re close to almost every amenity you could possibly want.
Sterling’s showhome at 8724 Carson Way SW is based on the Trista Bling model. It has almost 2,000 square feet and a thoroughly modern look. The walk-in corner pantry in the kitchen keeps everything neatly organized, and the dining nook offers a great view of the backyard. You’ll especially love the luxury of the master ensuite. It features side-by-side sinks, a private toilet, an oversized shower, and large soaking tub.
Langdale has a beautiful, old-fashioned look to the neighbourhood, and the homes promise to be just as lovely. You’ll see this as you tour the showhomes here.
The Wellington showhome at 17820 Wright Drive feels large at 2,200+ square feet, but it’s actually the smallest of Sterling’s showhomes in Langdale. The first floor is built for family life, with a large mudroom, a computer station in the kitchen, and a study or home office area. Upstairs, the kids will both get walk-in closets, and there’s a bonus room at the landing for a second family room.
The Westin is also a front-attached home, but with the addition of a large porch at the front, the garage doesn’t feel quite as overwhelming as it sometimes does in this type of home. There are walk-in closets galore in this model, including one in the mudroom and one in the main front entrance. The bedroom layout on the second floor is especially nice: rooms are spread apart giving each person a bit more privacy.
At more than 2,300 square feet, the Watson is for those who want to live large. You’ll love the subtle elegance throughout the home, including the tile backsplash and nooks for decorative items. Kids won’t mind sharing the upstairs bathroom because there are two sinks and a privacy door for the toilet. The master ensuite has its own great look, with an extra-large soaking tub.
If you’ve been looking for a neighbourhood that makes you feel one with nature, The Uplands is the right place for you.
Sterling’s showhome at 2708 198 St. NW is based on the Winterfell B model. The angled roof gives it a unique look, and it has all the amenities you want on the inside. Kids get their own walk-in closets in this model as well, but it also has two walk-in closets in the master bedroom. One of those connects to the upstairs laundry room. Downstairs, you’ll love the large foyer and the open design of the main living area. Details like a full-height ceramic tile backsplash give this home a great look.
The Westeros B at 2704 198 St. NW is slightly larger and has a more classic look to the exterior of the home. There are benches in both the main foyer and the family’s mudroom, and a walk-through butler’s pantry gives you plenty of space to store your food and kitchen gadgets. Features on the second floor include an ultra-luxurious ensuite in the master bedroom, side-by-side sinks in the kids’ bathroom, and a large bonus room you can design for your own purposes.
