Sterling Homes Celebrates Five Years of Charity Golf Tournaments
What began five years ago as a fun, complimentary networking event for our valued realtor partners has grown into something far greater. Together, we have transformed this tournament into a meaningful fundraising initiative that is making a real difference in our community.
In recent years, the tournament has supported Hope Mission in memory of Caleb Redman, the son of Sterling Homes Vice President Sherri Stace. Hope Mission provides essential services, resources and support to individuals and families experiencing homelessness, poverty and other challenges.
Over the past five years, the Sterling Homes annual charity golf tournament has raised a total of $133,396 for local deserving charities including the Hope Mission and Little Warriors.
2026 Sterling Homes Golf Tournament Raises $48,000
The 2026 Sterling Homes golf tournament was a tremendous success, raising $48,000 for Hope Mission.
This year’s fundraising efforts will help Hope Mission continue providing essential programs and services to people in need throughout the community. We are especially proud to share that this year’s donation will help fund the purchase of a second LIFEPAK device for the Hope Mission. This critical piece of life-saving equipment will support frontline teams serving vulnerable individuals in our community and will undoubtedly save countless lives. The event demonstrated the impact that can be achieved when businesses, sponsors, employees and community members come together for a common cause.
Day-of-Event Fundraising Raises More Than $10,500
The 2026 charity golf tournament raised more than $10,500 through fundraising activities held during the event.

- Edmonton Oilers draw hosted by Hope Mission: $4,700
- Fundraising led by Sterling Homes Construction Manager Jonathon Aiken: $1,055
- Sterling Homes spinning wheel hole: $440
- Star Mechanical hole activities: $650

A Rain-Free Day on the Golf Course
After a summer marked by record levels of rainfall, tournament participants were fortunate to enjoy a dry and enjoyable day on the golf course.
The excellent weather created ideal conditions for golfing, networking, and fundraising.

Kevin Wiebe and Naib Woldegebriel from Hope Mission delivered meaningful speeches and an informative program during the tournament.
