Combined with the other nature trails and ponds scattered throughout, it’s the perfect way for you to stay active without having to go far. Just step out your door to go on a walk with stunning scenery.

Those with kids appreciate the open green spaces; an ideal spot for picnics or tossing a frisbee. There’s even a playground area where families can meet up. And you’ll love the general layout of the neighbourhood, which includes numerous cul de sacs. These quieter streets are great for bike riding, and the lots at the end are pie-shaped, giving you a bigger backyard.

You won’t have to worry about your kids’ education living in Jesperdale. There are a lot of great choices of schools nearby. The public elementary schools Brookwood and Millgrove are both K-4 schools, while the French immersion school Ecole Broxton Park School is K-9. Greystone Centennial and Woodhaven Middle Schools are both grades 5-9. Most kids eventually end up at the Spruce Grove Composite High School for the final years before college.

Of course, there are also quite a few Catholic schools in the area if you’re interested in a religious-based education, such as the St. Joseph and St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools.

A Convenient Commute

People choose Jesperdale because they want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but it’s still conveniently located. It’s just about 10 minutes away from West Edmonton, only a 35-minute drive to the downtown area and under 45 minutes to Edmonton International Airport. And there are plenty of Jesperdale residents who work in Spruce Grove. If that’s the case for you, it will take less than 15 minutes to get to work!
