Why is there a barricade on my back door and not the stairs?
The barricade is put there for safety reasons. If the floor is at a certain height it’s required to be blocked off so no one can fall, and is a condition of the occupancy permit. If the stairs aren’t installed then they weren’t included with the home. Review your blueprints to see what’s included.
