The fun doesn’t end when the snow starts to fall, though. There’s also an ice skating rink in the community, and hills perfect for tobogganing. As long as you bundle them up warmly, the kids will be happy to go outside. 

2. Throw a Party

You can also shop at the Save-On-Foods or the Shops at Summerside. At the All India Supermarket, you’ll find some specialty food items at great prices. 

7. Go Out for a Bite to Eat 

It’s always nice to take a break from the kitchen and enjoy the options around Orchards. While you can easily enjoy many of your fast-food and casual restaurant favourites, it’s also nice to go to nearby restaurants in South Edmonton Common or Ellerslie. 

8. Get Out of Town 

Life is great at Orchards, but if you feel like getting away from it all, or if you need to travel for work, it’s nice to know the airport is nearby. You can easily get to your flight on time – even if you’ve overslept – and it’s nice to have a short drive home at the end of a long flight.
