The minimum amount you can put down is 5% of the home’s value, as long as the home costs $500,000 or less. If the cost of the home is over $500,000, the minimum you’ll need to pay is 5% on the first $500,000 and 10% on the remaining balance.

So for example, if your home costs $600,000 the minimum down payment would be:

5% of $500,00 = $25,000
10% of $100,000 = $10,000
Total minimum down payment = $35,000

Hazel and Elena have been wonderful throughout our house buying and building process. They both are very professional, kind, and accommodating to all our questions and needs. Due to Covid, it was hard to go in anytime to check the house during the building process because of the health protocols. However, Sterling did a good job building our home!

We purchased our second home with Sterling and we are so happy and can't wait to be moving in. Everything went smooth from the purchased . Due to covid,we were not able to do our walk through but the Assistant sale representative was excellent for the video viewing and was very patient through the virtual walk through. Just wanted to thank Sterling homes for all the hard work that they has put together for us in our new home. They always had everything completed in a timely manner. Ryan and Risha are the best! Very accomodating and anwers all our questions. Though we had a little bit of misunderstanding at first but they always reassured me and my husband that they would correct any issue or concern I had and made it a better experience. I think it is natural to have some anxiety as a customer to go thru the building process and they always kept me informed and explained the process well. I love our home and I am happy with our experience with Sterling Homes. Thank you for always taking my call/messages at all hours of the day and thanks for being patient with us as customers.
