Life in BeaumontAs the fifth fastest-growing municipalities in Alberta (with a population of over 19,00 people and an annual growth of 5-6% per year since 2000), Beaumont is an up-and-coming area that’s perfect for investors, young professionals or first-time buyers who want to see their community grow with their family. Founded as a French colony in 1895, the core of the city features architecture that resembles a French village, built around St. Vital Church at its center. The original church burned down in 1918 with the current church replacing it in 1919 and has remained ever since. Since then the city has thrived, driven by its housing market and strong commercial center. It experienced a population boom in the 1970s, with growth rates as high as 38% per year, and continues to be strong. Beaumont is still looking towards future growth, with some of the fastest internet speeds in Canada thanks to its pioneering high-speed internet project, which aims to have 10 Gigabit connectivity in the near future (which is a 100-fold increase over the average speed!) When you choose Le Reve in Beaumont, you’ll be able to fully experience its unique cultural past, while also being in the perfect position to take advantage of its exciting future.
Exceptional Community AmenitiesLe Reve in Beaumont is still in the early stages of development, but there are great plans for the future. There will be a brand-new grocery store for Phase 1 and this neighbourhood includes three planned school sites, which means your children will likely be able to walk to school from your home. At the centre of the community, there’s a 9+ acre central park with wetlands for year-round activities and community events. Planned additions for the park area include:
- a picnic/cooking area
- basketball and pickleball courts
- a family skating area
- an amphitheatre/stage

If you’re looking for recreation outside of your neighbourhood, you won’t be disappointed.
