Home Styles that Meet Your Needs
In Sienna, Sterling is building single-family laned homes and front-attached homes. Some of these homes are in our Evolve or Advantage lines, which feature lower price tags without skimping on quality by making the building process more efficient.
For instance, the Deville floor plan starts at an incredible $314,900. It has about 1,300 square feet of living space with a layout that maximizes the available space. You’ll find oversized closets with shelving in both the front and back entrances, an open-concept living space on the main floor, and three bedrooms upstairs. The master suite includes a walk-in closet and three-piece ensuite. Even with the low price, you’ll love the high-end design features, such as quartz countertops, 9’ ceilings on the main floor, and a ceramic tile backsplash in the kitchen.
If you’re looking for something bigger, consider the Thomas model, which is our most beloved single-family floor plan. It has over 2,500 square feet, and one of the reasons that everyone loves this plan so much is the large number of choices you have in the design. On the main floor, for instance, there’s a flex room that you can use as a home office or playroom, but there’s also the option of making this a first-floor bedroom. Other options include things like a separate spice kitchen for cooking foods with strong smells. Upstairs, you have the choice of either three or four bedrooms, and with either choice, you’ll enjoy a bonus room upstairs as well. There are also options for developing the basement for even more space or a legal income-earning suite.
A Community Built for Life
The Sienna community has a design plan that makes your life more comfortable. Lots have bigger backyards than those you might find closer to the city, so you know that your kids can play safely. There’s also a playground right within the community, giving you a place to go to meet up with others.
Families also love the green spaces and walking trails that you find throughout the neighbourhood. This makes it safe for learning to ride bikes or going on walks after dinner to get a bit of exercise.
Simply put, the quiet atmosphere of the community combined with these amenities makes it a great place to live.
One of the great things about living in an established city like Fort Saskatchewan is that it’s been commercially established as well. Everything you need like stores, banks, and medical centres can be found within a quick drive away.
For your general shopping needs, you’ll find places like Walmart and Shoppers Drug Mart. There’s also the community hospital, an acupuncture clinic, a chiropractic clinic, dentists and a vet centre. For recreation and fun, the Dow Centennial has it all. They’ve got things like a fitness centre, a family skating rink, a theatre, and an art gallery. Check out their schedule for possibilities. And when you want to get outside, you might head to the Fort Saskatchewan Golf and Curling Club or just the North Saskatchewan River for some fishing.
School Choices Available
Despite being a fairly small city, you have a lot of choice in schooling for your child. Current options include public schools such as Fort Saskatchewan High School, Catholic schools like Our Lady of the Angels, and French immersion such as École Parc Élémentaire. You can carefully look at your choices and find the schools that will best fit your child’s personality and needs. Most schools are just 3-4km away from Sienna.
An Easy Commute
Many people who live in Sienna work in the Fort Saskatchewan area, and if this is true for you, your daily commute will probably be 15 minutes or less. However, those who work in other areas will find that their commutes are easy as well. For instance, it only takes 35 minutes to get to the downtown area and even a trip to the airport is less than 45 minutes away. Clearly, when you live in Sienna, you get all of the advantages of being outside of the hustle and bustle of the city while still keeping all of the conveniences of living near a big city. We think it’s perfect!
Sienna offers families a lot of advantages. We encourage you to drive out to take a look at everything it has to offer, then talk to our Area Managers about how you can have Sterling build your dream home.
